apply the grouping order of a previous count to the count you are currently working on.
The Selection tools select shapes for editing. Selection tools include Box Select, Lasso Select, Pointer Select and the Performer Profile Selection tool.
The Labeling tool labels a performer. The label location can be adjusted to follow the contour of a shape, alternate sides, or stay on any side or corner. The Labeling Tool also changes the symbol and color of performers.
The Adjuster tool quickly moves a performer or performers. With the Adjuster tool, click and move (drag) one or more performer locations without the need to select them.
Props are placed on or off the field with the Props tool. Each prop can be individually moved during the drill by any performer.
Arrow and Text tools mark a count of drill with notes and direction indicators. In the Text tool, type boxes of text anywhere on the field. Create a list of templates of commonly used text on the charts in your drills, and then click on the template to add the text.
With 3D , you can do much more than just animate performer movement. Show any performer moving in double-time or half-time. Show a performer’s uniform change by changing the performer’s symbol or color anytime in the drill. Follow a single performer throughout a drill by putting a spotlight on them. Watch a drill from any side or angle. Add music to the drill and have the animation follow tempo changes of the music. Music files can be most MIDI, wav or MP3 (converters are available for most incompatible music file types).
Drill is constantly seen in perspective while designing and animating. The perspective view can be seen from any angle, in any size, and any color.
Drill can be designed backwards. For example, create a set at count 48 and design backwards to a set at count 24, simply by flipping the arrow on the Count Track.
3D’s patented Drill Rewrite utility removes or adds performers throughout a drill. Powerful logic and user defined options are used to determine whether to adjust intervals or leave holes at each set of a drill.
The Grid Designer utility is used to create a grid (performing surface)
