Q: How do I create a production?
A: A production file is a compressed file that allows you to save multiple drill files in the save file for more portability as well as it will enable you to print merged performer coordinate sheets. To create a Production you must first save all files that will be associated with the production as 3D Packages (.3dz) and listed in the Drills directory. This is done by choosing save as from the file menu and changing the save options to a 3d package. Once all of the files are saved as packages and are located in the default drills folder (Pyware 3D/Drills) you can then create a production file. To Create a new Production go to the file menu and choose new production. You will then be taken to the production wizard that will guide you through the creation process. This process is outlined on page 51 of the Pyware User Guide.
