Problem Creating a Video

I am trying to create a video with the program iShowU. When I hit record and play the real view animation(synced with audio), the count track slows down even though it is properly sync with the audio file. The count track does not slow down when I am not recording. I am running Pyware version 8. OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. This is a brand new computer, 4 GHz intel Core i7 processor, 32 GB memory, upgraded graphics card.

Long story short, it's likely the hard drive. You will need an SSD in there. Go to macsales.com and get one. It's the most likely bottleneck you will have.

That being said, your computer specs are not on Mactracker either, which could present a problem.
