Diagonal props

One of my clients is doing a show next fall on "Road Construction" and wants a diagonal tarp on the field the make a road. Since, the prop tool won't create a diagonal prop, how do I do this? Anyone have any ideas on this one? I've never used anything other than the default field grid.

I've had to do something similar and what I ended up doing was making a floor template in Photoshop. If you have the plug-in, I would suggest trying to create something like that, if you have all the right software. If you don't have the floor cover plug-in, I highly recommend getting it as I have had to use it on several occasions similar to this.

If you need help, I can probably make it for you. It's really easy for me since I've done it many times. I would just need you to draw the outline of the road you want (using positions) and send me a screenshot.
