update from 7.2.2 to 7.2.4

i downloaded the update app, but i get this error when updating on my laptop. it happens once the installer gets to 99%.
can you offer any assistance?
im running basic 7.2.2 64-bit on Windows 7 Professional SP1 on a HP Pro Book 450 G1 laptop.

The updater that you downloaded did not download properly.
Please download the updater again using a different internet browser.

i tried with chrome & internet explorer and both still give errors after loading to 99%.
should i uninstall completely and reinstall?

The installer itself is not able to extract. So you are never able to start the installation process.
