I would like to know if there is a short cut method of splitting a large drill file into smaller sections in seperate files.

To split a file you would need to delete each section using the count editor and do a save as a new file.
To save the first part of a file:
Locate the end of the first tune or section you want to seperate and notate the count that the tune ends on. Then go to the Utilites menu and choose the Count editor. Choose the option to remove counts, and type in the selected count to remove counts after and type in the number of counts you would like to remove. Then choose save as from the file menu and save the file as a new name.
To save a file from the middle of a drill.
Determine how many counts you would like to remove from the beginning of the drill. Then go to the Utilites menu and choose the Count editor. Choose the option to remove counts, and type -1 in the remove counts after text box and type in the number of counts you would like to remove. Then choose save as from the file menu and save the file as a new name.
