Pyware version 6 from version 4

I have pyware 6 on my lap top and my colleague has pyware 4 on her computer. Can Pyware 6 read version 4?
Re: Pyware version 6 from version 4
Yes, I'm pretty sure that Pyware v6 can read v4 just fine, as well as any other drill written using the Java versions. But if you wanted your colleague to be able to read any files that you are working with on your computer, you would have to save it as a v4 file, which is in the dropdown menu in the "Save a Drill File As:" window. I'm almost positive that once you open the file on your v6 computer, it'll prompt you to save it when you close it. If your colleague is going to need to look at the drill after you've opened it, you will have to manually Save As... a v4 3dj or 3dz file in order for her to be able to open it. I think if you just clicked "Save Changes" it'd default to a v6 file. (somebody correct me if I'm wrong.)
I'm on v6 and have been able to open old drill files that I wrote back in 2004 using v3.x. So, I think you'll be fine.

Version 6 is able to read all files from version 1 of 3D Java up to version 6.
