Shortcut Editor
The Shortcut Editor allows you to define keystrokes for many of the tools and functions in 3D. To access the Shortcut Editor, select it from the Utilities Menu. A new window will open with all of the tools/functions currently eligible for a shortcut displayed.

Unless you have already gone through this process, the "Default" shortcut set should be displayed (you will see this in the drop-down menu at the top of the Shortcut Editor). The Default shortcut set cannot be modified; this is the set of shortcuts that comes out of the box with 3D. To edit a shortcut, you would first need to create a new "set" of shortcuts. Select the "New Set" button and give your shortcut set a name. Once you have created your new set of shortcuts, you can begin to edit them. To change the keystroke of a shortcut, select the tool/function from the list and press the "Edit" button. This opens a new window where you can assign the key press for your shortcut. Use the modifier key options at the top of this window to give even more unique options.

Any conflicts with the keystroke(s) you have selected will be listed in this window.
