Although permissible audio file types include MIDI and WAV, we recommend using OGG audio files to sync to your drill. OGG files tend to be the smallest size with the highest quality.
If you have been provided a file format that isn’t OGG, it’s extremely simple to convert an audio file to the OGG format.
Converting Audio Files to OGG
First and foremost, you’ll need an application to convert your audio to OGG. We recommend Audacity for it’s simplicity and price (free!). Download and install Audacity from the following links:
- Windows Installer: Download Audacity for Windows
- Macintosh Installer: Download Audacity for Mac OS X
- Once you have downloaded the installer, be sure to run the installer so Audacity is installed on your machine.
- Open Audacity.
- Click the File menu and choose Open.
- A file browser will open. Locate the audio file you would like to convert, select it, and press Open.
- Click the File menu and choose Export.
- A file browser will open. Enter a file name. For the File Type, choose Ogg Vorbis. Select a location to save the new file then press Save.
- Nothing needs to be entered in the Edit Metadata window, so press OK to begin the export.
- Your new OGG file will appear in the destination location you chose to save the file to.

Nolan,
Please make sure you are on the current update for your license. If you are, please email us the file so we may take a look to see what may be causing the issue.

I followed the instructions to the letter and the program won't allow me to choose the OGG file that was saved. Thank you for trying to help.
