The Save As 3D App File option in the file menu will save a copy of the currently open drill as a .3da file type. These .3da file types, also known as mobile app files, can be viewed in the 3D Viewer application.
To save a mobile app file, first open the drill from the File menu. Once the drill is open, go to the File menu and choose Save As 3D App File. A new window will open where you can give the file a name, and specify which directory you would like to save the file to. Once you have decided on a destination and file name, press Save.

How do I get the 3D App File to my iPhone so that I can open it with the viewer app?

Chuck,
The Save as 3D App feature is only available on version 8. Please don't hesitate to give us a call or email if you're having trouble with the app.

I do not find the Save as 3d app file as a save as option. It sounds like it would be easy to find, but I can not find it anywhere in the program! Frustrating! I have already bought the app, but I can not use it.
