Navigation Ribbon Top Right

Camera and Staging adjustment: Pyware 3D X now has the 2D and 3D view integrated. This allows you to easily move back and forth to your desired view. You can now design in 3D. You are also able to control the look of the performers as a body or as a design puck.

Surface Toggle: This will toggle between Surface Mode, Grass Grid Mode, and Design Mode. This setting is saved with the staging preset.




Grid Toggle: This will toggle the grid on or off. This setting is saved with the staging preset.




Prop Toggle: This will toggle props on or off.




Text Toggle: This will toggle textboxes on or off.




Measurements Toggle: This will toggle on or off the measurements of the forms and largest stride on the design grid.




Label Toggle: This will toggle the labels on and off.




Symbol Toggle: This will toggle the symbols on and off.




Performer Display Toggle: This will toggle the performer display from puck, performer body, symbol Only. This setting is saved with the staging preset.




Recenter grid: This resets the camera to the default location.




Zoom to Action: This will zoom the camera to the selected performers. If no performers are selected it will zoom to all performers.




2D/3D Toggle: This button will toggle between 2D Top down mode and 3D perspective mode. This setting is saved with the staging preset.




Camera Lock: This button will lock or unlock the ability to adjust the camera. You can also unlock the camera on the fly by holding your ctrl key. To adjust the camera in 2D mode, unlock the camera with the button or the ctrl key and use the left or right mouse click to shift the camera around the field. You can use the mouse scroll wheel or touch pad scroll to zoom in and out on the field. To Adjust the camera in 3D mode, unlock the camera with the button or the ctrl key and use the left mouse button to adjust the camera angle (pitch, pan and yaw). You can use the right mouse button to shift the camera around the field. You can use the mouse scroll wheel or touch pad scroll to zoom in and out on the field.

Staging Presets: To help maintain your favorite design views there are 8 staging presets that allow you to save and recall the camera angles you set. The settings that are saved in the staging preset are Surface Mode, Grid, Label, Symbol, Performer Display, 2D/3D Mode, and camera location and angle. To save the staging preset you move the camera to the desired position, change your display settings and then double click on the staging preset you would like to save it as. To recall the preset single click on the preset number. The staging preset can also be set to a shortcut key in the Shortcut Editor.

Line Tool Inspector Selection, Drawing and Editing tools: All selection, drawing and editing tools will now use either the ribbon or a combination of ribbon and inspector to display tool functionality. The ribbon is located just below the File Menus. This area contains the basic tool functionality and is the primary location you will be using to make changes in the open tool. This can also be moved to the bottom of the screen in the display settings window.
The inspector is a popup that will show on the right side of the screen and can be moved to any desired location. This only shows in tools that have expanded advanced functionality.
Add and Remove Handles: Adding and Removing Handles can be accomplished by double clicking on the handle or the area you want to add/remove the handle or by Shift clicking on the handle or area you want to add/remove the handle.
