Lasso Ribbon

Click and drag a lasso around performers to select everyone in the lassoed area.

Lasso Ribbon Selection
  • New Selection: Any selection made will be a new selection and will clear any old selection. Hold Shift to add additional selections.
  • Include: Any selection made will be added to the existing selection.
  • Exclude: Any selection made will be removed from the existing selection.

Grouping

  • Keep existing Grouping: Performers selected will be grouped as the are currently.
  • Group by Direction: Performers will be regrouped in sequential order based on the direction of the grouping arrow.
  • Group Angle Snake: Performers will be regrouped in sequential order based on the direction of the grouping arrow in a snake order where at the end of a line the next performer to be groups starts at the end of the line.
  • Group Angle Zig Zag: Performers will be regrouped in sequential order based on the direction of the grouping arrow in a zig zag order where at the end of a line the next performer to be groups starts at the beginning of the line.
  • Flip Order: Flip the current grouping order.
  • Find Next: Finds the next performer in the direction of selection and adds the performer to the selection.
  • Group like Secondary: Groups the selection like they were on the secondary anchor.
  • Split: Enter a pattern or group size for the current selection to be regrouped to.

Location Editing

Pointer Ribbon Location Editing
  • Show Relocation Handles: Toggles on or off the relocation and resize handles.
  • Edit Steps: Enable the ability to edit the steps of the selected performers.
  • Edit Path Quarter: Enable the ability to edit the path of the selected performers with 3 edit handles.
  • Edit Path Midpoint: Enable the ability to edit the path of the selected performers with a mid point handle.
  • Snap To: Snaps the current selection to the default values set in the Snap To Resolution tool in the Edit Menu.
  • Straighten Paths: Changes the currently selected performers to a straight line path.

Facing

Pointer Ribbon Facing

  • Facing: Change the facing style of the selected performers. Facing Styles available are Follow Movement, To Fixed Angle, To a Point, From a Point, To a Performer, From a Performer, Grouping Order, Reverse Grouping Order.
  • Set Angle: Shows the facing angle arrow to allow you to choose the facing angle visually.
  • Set Performer: Allows you to select a performer to be the facing focus to face to or from.
  • Set Point: Shows the Facing Point Handle to allow you to choose the point that the performers are facing to or from.
  • More Options: This will open the Facing Style Editor to allow for more advanced facing options.
