Splice Tool

Ribbon

This will splice a performer out of a form and move it to a desired location. It will allow you to leave a hole or equalize spacing.

• Previous Set: Moves the anchors to splice the previous set.
• Accept Splice changes: Accepts the splice, splices the performer out to the chosen location and adjusts the spacing.
• Next Set: Moves the anchors to splice the next set.

Inspector

• Leave a Hole: This will leave a hole in the form where the performer is being spliced out of.
• Equalize spacing: This will equalize the space in the form that the performers is being spliced out of.
• Show Paths: This will show the paths that the performers are taking during the transition that is currently selected.
• Previous Set: Moves the anchors to splice the previous set.
• Accept Splice changes: Accepts the splice, splices the performer out to the chosen location and adjusts the spacing.
• Next Set: Moves the anchors to splice the next set.
• Selected Performer: The performers that are being spliced are selected with a star. The location in which the performer will be moved is identified with a circle. This circle can be moved to any desired location.
