The status bar along the bottom of the screen reports on your selection and the drill as you work.

Status Bar
  • Performer Selection: 5 of 120: how many performers are selected, out of the whole cast. In the Spotlight Tool it reads Spotlight Selection. While you draw, it shows how many positions the shape has.
  • Max Stride To [16-24] and Min Stride To [16-24]: the largest and smallest step anyone in the selection takes from the secondary anchor’s count to the primary anchor’s count. The max cell flashes when the step is bigger than your Maximum Stride Warning.
  • Max Stride From and Min Stride From: the same, from the primary anchor to the continuity anchor.
  • Average Interval: the average spacing between the selected performers, while you’re editing a form.
  • Performer: the name and label of the performer under your pointer, while a selection tool is active.
  • File name: the open drill. An asterisk means it has unsaved changes. During long jobs, such as uploading, this cell shows their progress.

Strides and intervals use the formats you choose in Settings.
