You can synchronize music in three ways: through the File Wizard, by selecting the settings gear in the bottom-left corner of the count track or through the settings dialog available through the File Menu. The File Wizard is ideal when you’re setting up a new drill file and want to establish synchronization from the start. The settings gear, on the other hand, provides a quick way to adjust or re-sync your music at any point during the design process without restarting the setup. The Settings dialog has all application and drill settings available. This flexibility ensures your drill playback always stays aligned with the music.

Audio Sync

Step 1: Load Audio

  • Click Browse to select and load your audio file

Step 2: Choose Synchronization Method

  • Tempo Map (Automatic): Uses the Production Sheet Tempo Map or set a default tempo (BPM).
  • Manual Synchronizing: Tap once for each Count or PageTab (Set) to align the music manually.

Step 3: Adjust Settings

  • Default Synchronization Tempo: Enter BPM for your drill file here if you have ONE tempo (default: 120).
  • Lead-In Time: Add a delay before the first set (in seconds).
  • Page Tab Creation: Automatically add page tabs at selected count intervals (default: 16).

Step 4: Review & Playback

  • Playback Review: Test the synchronization with your audio.
  • Reset to Computed Beats: Return to automatically calculated beat alignment.

Step 5: Confirm

  • Click Okay to save your synchronization, or Cancel to exit without changes.
