Re: Intervals...
I had the same situation this year. A larger size band I designed for looked great at 2.5 spacing for part of the show. 2 step just looked too close and 3 step spread them out way too far to be musically effective. I'll be curious to hear the feed back from the staff on how the kids cope with 2.5.

Sync to mp3 problems
I have a new drill file that is a continuation from the previous song. When I go in document options to sync to drill to the MP3 file, I select the music file but when I go to actually sync using the space bar, the music never plays. The MP3 file play fine by itself. I had a problem with one spot in...

Diagonal props
One of my clients is doing a show next fall on "Road Construction" and wants a diagonal tarp on the field the make a road. Since, the prop tool won't create a diagonal prop, how do I do this? Anyone have any ideas on this one? I've never used anything other than the default field grid.

Re: what do you charge?
My rates are based on the size of the band and when they get the music and instrumentation numbers to me. I charge a base fee of $1200 plus $4 per charted performer if I have all the materials by April 1, $6 per performer if I have the material by May 15, $8 if I have the material by June 15 and $10...

Prop tool
Can you make it possible to put props on diagonals rather than only square to the sideline. Many times we want flats, backdrops or tarps positioned at angles.

Okay, we can pick up where we left off last year. This year I have 6 shows to design. The most interesting one is a show on the events of 1968. We've been planning this show for a year, so I was a bit surprised when I found on corpsreps.com that a DCA corps is also doing a show on 1968. Mostly diffe...

Animation skipping labels and props that disappear
How do I get the number labels to stop jumping around during animation? I've tried changing the label setting in Document options, but they still end up in the orginal contour from the first form entered. Also, I have props entered into a show. The props show up on the screen, the perspective view a...

Knife and Glue
What does the "accept each change and stick around..." box do? Sometimes, when I knife and glue or regroup selected performers and then go to the next page tab, it goes back to the old grouping. Do I need to uncheck the "accept each change..." box?

Animation ahead
Each time I open the program, the first time I run a drill animation with music the animation is about 2 beats ahead of the music. Once I stop and restart the animation it's fine. Is it just me, or is anyone else have this? It's really no big deal, just a bit annoying.

I had a problem with the latest upgrade to Quicktime 7.0.4 that came though system upgrades today. After I installed, my 3D Java wouldn't open. Instead I got an icon that looked like a red ball with a jet plane flying around it. After a lot of messing around, I reinstalled Quicktime 7.0.1 and everyt...
