8.0.4 and Macintosh OS 10.11 (El Capitan)
Well... At least on my Macintosh 8.0.4 and MacOS X 10.11 don't seem to like each other... The program opens without any errors, but as soon as I open an existing drill file... the application simply crashes out without a sound (other than the OS X dialog box asking if I want to report the crash to A...

Re: iPad
And just to bring my earlier comments full circle... this new app is a MASSIVE WIN as far as teaching the drill is concerned. I've done all of the other 'make work' solutions on my iPad... having a digital drill book is something I've been doing for a while now... as well as video captures of the dr...

Version 8 Not Registering
I just updated my machine to Version 8 and even though it says it will pick up or use a Version 7 serial number it will not do so on my machine. I have sent in the Register via Email info and hope to have a usable serial number soon... just a head's up for anyone else planning on trying out Version ...

Colorguard in dresses
I know that a lot of guards, especially at the high school level, use skirts or full dresses as costumes... it would be really nice to be able to choose this option and actually see the dress instead of colored body suits. Since our guard does not march at all, but dances for the entire show... the ...

Re: Colorguard Uniform Needed
Is there a way in Pyware to display the lower half as a skirt, instead of as red leggings? I was hoping for the whole 'floating' thing with the guard...
Thanks in advance!

Colorguard Uniform Needed
We are using a generic red dress as the base of our colorguard uniform this year... I really just need the dress with the skirt fairly full so we can see it in the drill.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Have you ever said "Screw it"?
There are just times when I feel like going to two-step intervals actually works better. I'll try to work up a file for you, but I'm just as happy doing it the hard way too. I'm just wondering if anyone has said "screw it" because it's either too time consuming or some other weird reason. If I made...

North Thurston HS Uniform
Attached are some photos of the North Thurston HS Marching Band uniform. The pants are solid black as are the shoes. We wear white gloves and gauntlets. I have tried to show front, back, the "NT" on the front of the uniform and the plume and shako.

Re: Installing Pyware on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
David Call us in the morning and we can get you set up 940-240-8536. Dustin, I think I got this solved... I made the Application Support folder 'writable' and then re-registered the software using my serial number. It now seems to be working as designed! I'm hoping that's all I needed to do, but so...

Re: Installing Pyware on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
Delete the /Library/Application Support/Pyware 3D v7 folder and then restart the machine. Then restart 3D and it will be a fresh activation window for you. Nope! No luck It still shows up as "Deactivated" even though it goes through all the motions. Even while it's telling me it is deactivated, the...

David Mountain Lion changed permissions on some folders during installation and our folder has become read only this is why you are having issues. 1) Go to the Go menu in Finder. 2) Choose Go to Folder 3) Go to /Library/Application Support/. 4) Click on the Pyware 3D v7 folder and get info. 5) Chan...

Re: Installing Pyware on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
Dustin,
I've just upgraded to a new Mac (running osX 10.8.3) and even though I launch the software (7.0.4) and it goes through the authorization process, and says it is authorized. Each time I relaunch it, it goes through the same reauthorization process... any hints?
Thanks!

Street Templates for Parade Writing
Dustin or any of the other folks... I'm writing to see if anyone has a basic street template for writing parade work. I don't need a specific parade, just something that is at least four lanes wide... I'm trying to write some movement that will work in a parade and NOT violate the rule of "general f...

We are updating information on the Real View on our home page as it becomes available. Any update on when Real View will be available for Version 6 users? I know this thread is about a year old now... but I have not seen a good answer to a question it would seem you have already answered. How do I make movies from my pyware drill files? I use a program called Camtasia. It records the screen and then you can convert the file to QuickTime so you can pl...

Re: Coordinate Sheets/Production Sheet
I agree with Eric on the first part... I was just bitten in the backside by having to type our preferred field layout (Side #1, Side #2, Back & Front) into the boxes for the third or fourth time in a day... ended up having to reprint a full set of coordinate sheets... bummer. Having the abilaity to ...

Howdy folks, as I enter my 3rd year writing drill I am always striving to do so more effectively/efficiently and this year is no different.
