Re: Hide/Show RealView window
Can it work like the Formatting Palette in Microsoft Office for Mac? You can shrink it up into the taskbar and bring it back by clicking that spot on the taskbar.

7.1.5 isn't unzipping on my Mac
I am on the same Mac mini you test at Pyware HQ and am running 10.8.4. I am attempting to download the 7.1.5 update and it is not unpacking correctly under BOM Archive Handler or Unarchiver.
I downloaded it twice and both times, it did not unpack correctly.

Re: FTL Countermarch
By Jove, I think I've got the whole thing. Although I misnamed the file, since it's an oblique drill as opposed to an oblique countermarch. I had to stop every two counts to work the figure correctly and had to restart it a couple of times. Anytime I would try and jump the gun, I was on the receivin...

Re: FTL Countermarch
OK, I think I got the starting set fairly close to right. This is how I've got it so far. It's a very tricky maneuver to start with in Pyware for me, because I have to constantly keep thinking to switch off to 6 to 5. I might have a finished product tonight and I might have it tomorrow. I'm having t...

Re: FTL Countermarch
Working on it. Give me a little bit of time. This is a good job for the two-step waltz (stopping every two counts until things are worked out). It might have to wait until tomorrow. It's driving me batty, because performers are jumping all over the place (I personally blame Firefox and not Pyware, b...

Re: FTL Countermarch
Without the countermarch tool, you are forced to stop every two counts to create the move. I run into similar issues coordinating a Diamond Drill in Pyware.

Can you move the bar at the top of the Real View window? Or is there no space whatsoever to move it upward/size is still too large?

10.9 Preview
I'm wondering if anyone is running Pyware under the 10.9 Mavericks (don't get me started on the name) Developer Preview. How is it working out?

Re: Help editing sets in Pyware
They wouldn't move because you didn't tell them to move. The page tabs are just there for tabby goodness. Think of it like a clock; an hour really doesn't pass in an instant when you spring forward.
So, I think you have to not only redo the page tab, but also redo the set for BOTH pages involved.

I've always wanted to ask how the Real View window is handed. Is it only on the graphics card or is a combined processor/graphics card deal?

It just can't be this simple (Spin Wheel)
Is the Spin Wheel nothing more than a massive "morph" in Pyware? The videos below show the Spin Wheel. It isn't a normal turn that can be handled by the Rotate tool in Pyware, as I soon figured out. It has Follow The Leader qualities to it with each line also, but the way it rotates doesn't quite fi...

Re: Connecting sets together
I've had this weird kind of thing happen to me, where they will jump to a different spot and then jump back. Typically what happened was the drill file remembered something I did before (particularly placing a "hold" on a marcher) and then snaps out of it. Try shortening the red/yellow tips on your ...

Basic allows for two installations, while Professional allows three. All you need to do is download V7 to your laptop, install it, and provide it with your registration code.

Re: audio sync
I think what saying "Yes" does is simply clear the previous sync. You have to restart the sync like you always do, by hitting the audio button on the bottom left bar. If that doesn't work, there is a stranger quirk than just having to redo the audio sync.

Will a video do?

I'm trying my best to get a better shot of the front, but it's taking a lot of digging. If I weren't so anal, then this might not be an issue.
Sadly, I think this is the best I am going to be able to provide right now.

It would be nice to be able to snag everything in one download from the Fabrics page. You never know when you might need something close or need to do uniform shopping.

I only need the mostly white uniform
The rest of the uniforms are already covered, but if you'd like to supply them also, I won't put up a fight. I only need the white uniform (the Field Commander one on the very far right of the pic).
You guys do such wonderful work on the fabrics and I can't thank you enough for all of this!

Just rotate the camera. When it gets to the angle you want, you can then save it as a preset.

Beating Dead Horses For iPad/Andriod Version
I'd like to see a version of Pyware for iOS/Android/etc that would just function as a viewer. It can even be a paid app instead of a free one (so long as I get one free with my Pyware install). Editing can be done on the computer, but viewing can be done on an iPad or similar device. Since the table...

Re: Marching in half time playing in common
I would sync it first. That way, you can get exactly the half-time march you want in the show. Just hit the space bar every two beats instead of every single beat.
This way, you get exactly what you want.

Re: Have you ever said "Screw it"?
There are just times when I feel like going to two-step intervals actually works better. I'll try to work up a file for you, but I'm just as happy doing it the hard way too. I'm just wondering if anyone has said "screw it" because it's either too time consuming or some other weird reason. If I made ...

Have you ever said "Screw it"?
Is there something within Pyware that is so time consuming for you that you just wind up saying "Screw it," do it using another tool and then write out how it's supposed to be done? I'm curious here. For me, that time is making diagonals. I used to (before the Traditional toolset) had to either go i...
