Ripple effect

Post by JMBDrums » Mon Jul 04, 2011 6:53 pm

Is there an easy way to design a "wave" or "ripple effect. For example: a front of 18: each performer forward 8, back 8 to original position, but each displaced by 2 counts.

The ripple effect can be accomplished using the Traditional Tool from the Traditional Tools Plug-in.

Please see this video for an example of how this is done.

And if you add a mark time in there between the forward march and the backwards march, and alternate between stepping off forwards or backwards, you can get the more rounded-off" DNA effect that the Cavaliers made famous.
