Best way to implement ripple type drill moves and scatters?

The HS band recently got me a version of pyware to design their show. It's been 15 years since I wrote any drill and used pyware, so getting used to the software again has been time consuming.

My question is about ripple and scatter effects; for ripples, are you only able to set the counts at the bottom the desired counts and implement them that way? Would there be a way to do a 24 total count move where the winds go from diagonals to straight lines while the guard just does one continual 24 count move?

Also looking for ideas on using the scatter tool; is there a quicker way to implement a scatter effect?

You can create the transition for the guard that is 24 counts independently from the winds.
Basically you would design the winds maneuver and then you can apply the stagger tool to it.
Here is an example of the Stagger tool.

Then you could design the guard transition over the same 24 counts.
