Am I missing tools?

Post by Riesh1 » Wed Aug 02, 2017 12:33 am

I have version 9 interactive and I think I am missing tools from the tool palette such as" facing" and "pace" and then in the maneuvering tools section there are 4 in the user guide that are not showing up including the "gate" tool. Am I missing something or is this only in the professional version?

In version 9, when the Real View is on, the pace and facing information is adjusted in the Visuals Editor (Red Flag).
Visuals Editor - http://www.pyware.com/guide/3d/9.0/en/t ... als-editor.

The Sequential Push, Traditional Tool, Gate Tool, and Counter-March Tool are part of the Traditional Tools Plug-in. This is a separate purchase for Basic and Interactive. It is included with Professional.

All Plug-ins we offer - http://www.pyware.com/guide/3d/9.0/en/topic/plug-ins.

You can accomplish the exact same thing with the rotate tool. The box is simply where the pivot point will be for the turn. I typically don't use Parade Gate unless there's a significant reason why it's needed.
I enjoy charting military drills. Let me know if you need any assistance with one of them.
