More Audio Syncing Problems...

Post by Tsar Nikk » Tue Jul 03, 2007 6:42 pm

Hey Dustin,

I'm using my Mac fulltime now, and am having problems syncing a new file to my audio file. I have both a .wav version of the file, and an .mp3 file. Has anyone else had problems syncing on a Mac in this new version?

Anyone know of a good converter program for the mac?

Also, when I try to sync one of these files, the program freezes up on me...it won't play the audio, and when I try to hit the "Done" button, nothing happens. I eventually have to Force Quit.

MAC user sync issues? First, using an .ogg file will get you more reliable results than wav or mp3 files. Audacity audio software is free. It will convert most common audio files to .ogg and they are MUCH smaller than wav or mp3. Download Audacity-Import your file- Export as .ogg file.
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK, continue to use the .ogg file, BUT, when you click "start synchronization", move your cursor (floating arrow) to the area on your pyware screen where track counts are located (lower left). That should allow you to entire the audio. It's a weird quirk with Macs.
