trouble printing coordinate sheets on HP 1210v
Post

Hi all
Newbie here. I am using Pyware 3D basic, v. 5.0.8. In trying to print coordinate sheets, 1/4 size, if I print using fastdraft, it prints the correct size, but the print is hard to read. If I use normal or best printing, it prints way tiny in one corner of the paper. Sorry if a similar question has been asked and answered before, I tried finding any postings like this but couldn't find any. Thanks for any help!

Sounds more like a printer drive problem than something with PyWare. Are you using the most recent drivers from the HP site?

After you press print/preview on the Print Coordinates screen then choose print setup and change the margins. I belive your right margin and bottom margin are set too large.

well, now I have worse problems. I don't think it was a margins problem, they were at .25 all around. I tried updating my printer driver too. Now when I go print/preview, it goes to setting up preview, and then it hangs. I've tried restarting, closing other programs, etc. I can't get to the print screen at all.

The next option you will need to do a a factory reset. Go to Application Options and choose the installation tab and click factory reset. Then you will need to reactivate. This should correct the issue.

the factory reset worked to get the hang problem fixed, but still no solution for the small printing. However, I hooked up another HP printer I had in the house, and it worked fine. Thanks for all your help!
