More help for those using Traditional tools plug-in?

Post by ccollin88 » Thu Sep 29, 2005 2:29 pm

I am wondering if there are any more tutorials other than the short manual
provided.
Many of my colleagues who do precision line drills(Casavant style) and Moffit style 4 man squads drills are interested in the program.I've had the plug in for awhile now and still haven't used it to do a show because of the confusion on how to get the program to do certain manuevers seemlessly
in a show.
I believe a manual that actually walks you through a typical precision drill show which could include:

A.Down field drill (maybe sequential spins every 8 counts by squad sets)
B.Mid field drill (step 2 drills with every other person going north or south)
C.Block band transition

If there is someone who does precision drills and actually understands and uses the plug-in please let me know. Thanks!

Traditional Tools

Post by PywareTechSupport » Wed Oct 05, 2005 2:02 pm

I will work on a more in depth howto manual for the Traditional Tools. It will take me about 1-2 weeks to have something final. I will post links to the manual as I build it to help everyone along the way. Watch this thread for any updates on the Tradtional Tools Manual.

Traditional Tool Manual

Post by PywareTechSupport » Wed Oct 26, 2005 3:51 pm

Please find the expanded Traditional Tool Manual at the link below. If there is a transition that you would like to see that is not included please let me know and I would be happy to have it added.

Is there a command for the traditional tool that allows you to do left and right pinwheels?

Pinwheel transitions are created using the rotate tool and changing the point of rotation.

Please see this video for an example on how this is done.

Is there a way to do left and right slants? I thought I had this figured out but I can't remember what I did. If I use the sequential push tool I can get the slant but the intervals/spacing or should I say the position of the marchers are not spaced like i want. (1,3,5,and 7 step off the line)
