Sound Issues

I'm running Snow Leopard with Pyware 5.0.7. All of the sound is really scratchy and distorted. This has never happened before. I've tried different sound files, all with the same results. I've opened up different drill files and all with the scratchy/distorted sounds. Any clues? I seem to be running into several "little" issues from time-to-time ever since I've installed Snow Leopard. . .

This issue has effected some mac machines. It is an issue with the way the Java running environment is processing the sound. The static or distorted sound is coming from the right channel only. We are investigating possible solutions currently. A temporary solution would be to open your system preferences and move the sound balance al the way to the left. This would remove the distorted sound from being heard. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
