Reference Menu not working

I am running 3DJava on iMac G5, OSX 10.4.7.
The Reference Menu "pulls down" but nothing is activated after choosing any of the options.
All other aspects of all the other menus work fine. Everything else seems to work fine.
Any ideas why the Reference menu doesn't work?

What version of the 3D Java are you running?

The reference menu should be operating properly in version 3.1.0 please download the update from our updates site.
