HELP! I can't create any points

How do I create a point/dot/character on the software? I know exactly what figure I'm trying to create, but I can figure out how to make any points on the grid. I've tried every tool! I'm waiting on the program to register - does that have something to do with it?

You can add performers to the field by selecting any of the drawing tools then drawing the forms once you have the form you would like then press accept and the form will be added to the field.

If you follow the first 3 sections of the tutorial this gives you a step by step example of how to enter forms on the field.
