Activation Error "Problem: Unable to..directory of accounts"

Hello. Recently purchased Pyware Basic. Ive installed the current demo version 7.1.4 on my desktop and laptop.

When trying to activate on the desktop it worked the first time I tried.

After about 50 tries on the laptop it always shows the following error:

Problem: Unable to open the directory of accounts

Its a clean install, the latest version, and I literally just purchased the program two days ago.

Yes, my version includes two installs. No it has not been installed on too many computers. Yes my laptop meets the system requirements. I've tried both wireless and Ethernet internet connections, the laptop is new and is relatively clean in terms of software.

Right click on the 3D Icon and choose Run as Administrator. Then attempt to activate online. If you are still unable to choose the activate by phone or email and then request and activation code here http://www.pyware.com/register.html.
