Printing symbols vs. dots

Post by wmarching » Fri Jul 11, 2014 12:50 am

I feel as though the answer has got to be in front of me (and incredibly obvious), but after searching the forums first, I'm still empty-handed.

How do I go about printing charts that only contain the dots and labels rather than the full-blown symbols?

Thank you so much in advance!

And a quick bonus Q in case any of the Pygraphics guys are reading this: when I did an update a while back on my old computer, I magically had access to all of the additional plug-ins (spiral tool, etc.). After downloading onto my new laptop, I'm back to basic again. Did I just get lucky for a while? :)

If you use the Dot font (PyJava2.ttf) the dot is the lowercase s.

There was an issue with a release of 7 that did not properly regulate the plug-ins for your license. That has been corrected and you will only have the plug-ins you are licensed for.

This may be a silly question, but considering all the print options (and since one of the options automatically indicates the center of each symbol with a dot), wouldn't there logically just be a box to check that takes away the symbols in the same manner as dots are added? Or does that exist and I'm just missing it?

That option does not existing currently.

It has been added and will be available in Version 8.
