Some animations stopped working?

I have version 8.01 and all of a sudden some of the animations for body and horn moves aren't happening. They are basically "warping" to horns up, with no movement between the up and down positions, the same thing with most lower body moves with the exception of plies and grande plies, they work fine. Pretty much everything else is completely devoid of movement in between counts and I also can't time anything, if I mark 4 counts for a left lean, it happens in half a count, no matter what. Any suggestions? I want my animations to look professional and the motion really helps that a lot.
