Pyware 3d v9 Crashing on Startup

Post by jrowephoto » Wed Sep 13, 2017 9:12 pm

I am trying to get pyware going for my wife on her macbook air. When she opens pyware 3d, the grid/opening screen opens and then the green field view shows up at the bottom right. (you can probably tell i'm a tech person, not a band director)

I've updated to the new version of Java, which may be a no-no...just grasping at straws. I've looked over the log file, and I don't see anything that jumps out at me immediately. I'm looking through it now more, but thought i'd post it here to see what you all thought. Any help here is GREATLY appreciated.

It sounds as if the Real View is crashing when attempting to start.

If you can contact us at 940-240-8536 we can walk you through some steps to resolve this issue.

It should take about 10 minutes.

Hello

I spoke with Tate at support Friday right before closing time. We got this going by disabling some hardware-intensive options, and now it's working. We also ran the update for the latest version before doing that.

My wife has worked on drill all day, and we just went to print and it says "Sample" across the screen. I know it activated yesterday, and Tate said that it would not have to be reactivated, but why is it doing this? She was able to save it...but can't print. It says "Sample" across it.

Any help out there on a Saturday night?
