Not only do I design drill in my spare time. I work as a mechanical design engineer. I use many cad tools in my job and it seems to me that most of them handle the Pan and Zoom much differently than pyware.
Instead of alt Z and alt S toggles,
They would allow you to hold the control button and it would acctivate the middle mouse button or wheel for zoom, and activate the left mouse button for Pan. Then relase the control button to go right back to whatever your were editing?
You could leave the toggle keys in for customers that are on a lap top and dont have a mouse, just add this control functionality for ease of use.
The toggle of keys drives me nuts! I want to be able to move quickly to the area I am interested in.
