Matching players, Oval, Selecting players questions

Post by BradPoreda » Thu Jul 08, 2010 1:41 pm

Folks,
I'm moving over from DrillQuest (finally) and after playing with Pyware for a while, I have three hurdles to get me to nirvana.

1) How do you rematch (reorder) players once a form has been set? Do you have to redraw the form in order to get the matching lines to show up, or is there an easier way?

2) Is there an Oval tool? The Circle tool doesn't seem to have a way to stretch the circle as I'm creating the form.

3) Is there a way to select a line of players, then immediately "drop/keep" every other, or every third, forth, etc.. player from the selection?

Thanks for helping out a newbie,
-Brad

Ok, I've figured out the Oval creation:
1) Create a Circle
2) Use Resize Tool (stretch, slant, etc...) to make it an Oval.

But,.....how does one even out the intervals within a stretched/slanted/distorted form?

Thanks,
-Brad

Brad

1) To rematch you will need to redraw the form or you can do a copy and paste of the form and select the option to use different matching.

2) To make an oval choose the circle tool and uncheck the lock to circle box. This will allow you to create a oval with even intervals.

3) You will need to regroup the form using the Knife/Glue tool. You can create a custom grouping pattern. Ex ABCABC for selecting every third person.
