Making corrections

When writing drill, I find myself backtracking and making changes to what I've written. When I do so, each page of drill looks correct, but the animation sometimes has the group that was changed jump back to their original position on count 2 of the particular move. Is there a way to keep this from happening so that the animation only shows the new path and not the old one?
