Marching in Half time

Post by sking » Mon May 20, 2013 12:13 pm

New to Pyware 3D and need to know,

The first 4 measures in 4/4 I want to be marched in half time as its being played in common. It is a total of 8 counts so should I just account 8 counts for the move and write it that way or another way?

Also should I synch the music before I write drill or after its done?

Thanks in advanced

sking,

I would account for the 8 count transition, then set the performers to march a half time pace for that transition. To do so, do the following:

-Spread your anchors on the count track for the 8 count transition (or click on the page tab if you have them set already)
-Create the transition
-Select the performers and open the Visuals Editor
-On the March Styles tab, choose the half time pace option

Re: music sync, you can sync an audio file whenever you'd like, whether it be before, after, or during the design process.

Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your support!
