Hi,
I'm using version 9 on my Macbook Pro (El Capitan) and I am writing for a director who has version 7. Is there any way to export in an earlier version so he can open my V9 .3dz files?
Thanks

Exporting to an older version is available in the Interactive and Professional Editions. This is in the Save As dialog http://www.pyware.com/guide/3d/9.0/en/t ... ve-save-as.
Thank you

Go to "Save As" and at the very bottom is a drop down menu. Choose Version 7 from that menu and it will open under that version or later.

NOTE: I think every save needs to be done as a "save as" save or else it tries to write it as a Version 9 file.
