Uninstalling to reinstall

Post by RMcGirr83 » Sun Oct 05, 2008 4:38 am

How does one uninstall this program in from within Vista? After going to the control panel and finding the program and clicking uninstall, the uninstaller hangs (never finishes). The problem is that once I had setup the program I had forgotten to choose the correct instrument and there is no where in the software, that I can find anyway, to change to a different instrument.

BTW, you really should update this software to be completely compatible with Vista.

If you are experiencing a hang up at the end of the de-installation you should be able to end the de-installation process. After that all that should be remaining is the Pyware iPAS folder in the Program Files folder. this folder should be empty and can be deleted. You may find installation instructions for the iPAS on Windows Vista in the post http://pyware.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=240. There is a new installer that has been fully updated for the windows vista operating system as you can see the updater to version 2.2.11 is fully compatible with Windows Vista. The CDs in the iPAS book were mastered with an installer that was released before Windows Vista was available. Please reference the Pyware iPAS site for the updated version of the iPAS software 2.2.11 http://www.pyware.com/ipas
