Cannot connect to the internet for assignments

Hello all,
After installing the program in Vista, I cannot get the program to log on through the internet.
I have tried the various firewall settings through the program and also trying to allow the program
through the firewall on the computer.
The program error message tells me cannot connect to the internet.
Any suggestions?

Please download the update to version 2.1.11 from the iPAS updates site at http://www.pyware.com/ipas. Then attempt to connect to the internet again.
