Recent Quick Time updates have affected all Java based applications. This issue can be resolved by following the steps listed below. These steps will require that you have administrative access to the computer, so if this is a school computer you may be required to contact a network administrator to complete the follow steps.

If you are running Quicktime 7.1.* please start at step 1 to reinstall the version 7.0.4 first. If you are running Quicktime 7.0.4 skip to step 2.
It is suggested to contact apple support in order to uninstall Quicktime fully.

Steps to install version Quicktime 7.0.4
1a) Download Pacifist in DMG format from http://www.charlessoft.com/.
1b) Download Quicktime version 7.0.4 from http://www.pyware.com/product_downloads ... allerX.dmg
1c) Open the Pacifist software and choose Not Yet when prompted to register.
1d) Then drag the Quictime installer.pkg on to the pacifist window. This will open the installation package inside of Pacifist.
1e) Click on the "Contents of Quicktime installer" and select install from the upper left hand corner. You will be prompted if you would like to replace files choose yes to replace.
1f) After this step is complete continue to step 2.

2) Installing Quicktime version 7.0.1 -
Go to http://www.pyware.com/product_downloads ... taller.dmgand download the reinstaller for Quictime 7.0.1. After the download is complete run the file to complete the installation.

After these updates have been installed you will need to restart your computer and the iPAS will operate properly.
