Trouble with animation due to audio player

I tried to sync an audio file with a drill and got the message "The audio player not ready. Wait a few seconds and try again" I tried again, read this forum, changed the file to a 192kbps ... still nothing. But the thing that concerns me most is AFTER I cleared the audio file from the document options, animation would not work. I still get "The audio player not ready. Wait a few seconds and try again" .... so now I can't animate anything I write. I can deal with the lack of audio, but not the animation.

What do I do?

Please convert your audio file to a wav file and then attach it to your drill. This should remove the issue of the Audio Player not ready. Also if you deselect the speaker button you should be able to animate the drill without music. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I, too, have the same issues. Clicked the audio/speaker button (to turn off) and still no animation. Has this been resolved?

I installed the update for version 5 and am still having the issue... I'm using OS 10.9.5

I can't get the drill to animate at all (with or without the audio track....) I'm still getting the "The audio player is not ready" message.

There is an issue with the audio file. If you can email the drill file to me and I would be happy to take a look at it.

I am having this same issue. Using 3D8 - went to sync a .wav file and nothing happened. Went to play and no animation only "audio player not ready..." box came up. Clicked off speaker and still no play only same message. !?!?!?!?!
