Animation on Perspective View/Indoor Floor Covering

Post by Phantom Demon » Wed Dec 29, 2010 11:41 am

I have a Floor Image (jpeg) that I am using with an Indoor Grid via Floor Covering Plug-In. When viewing the animation on the Perspective view the cast members appear to be "floating" way above the floor. It is so bad that from a front angle perspective the cast members actually appear to be behind the floor. Also, if I "pan" to the either side with the perpective view, striaght lines in the Floor Image appear to curve. I am using 3D 4.3 on a HP PC.

This seems to be a known bug back to 2008:

Yeah, I wish that I had known that before I paid $75 for it!

Version 4.3.3 corrects the issue with the Floor Cover image not appearing properly in the perspective view. Please find it at our updates page at http://www.pyware.com/updates.html
