I recently became the band director at my new school, and the band boosters bought an update from v7 to v8. The previous director had Pyware on his personal laptop, and gave me the serial number to use for my drill writing. I tried downloading the version the boosters purchased, and have the activation code to (Version , but when I run the installer (downloaded from http://www.pyware.com/updates.html#eight), I keep getting the message: "Please select another location to extract the installer to." I tried looking this up online, and after restarting, deleting all temp files on my computer, re-downloading it several times, it seems that the file is corrupted. I can download version 7 and 9 with no problems, but cannot download the version I have a license for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download the v8 updater using a different browser, such as firefox. This should resolve the issue.
