A couple from Alexandria, Kentucky, are two true music enthusiasts and were ecstatic to find out another member will be added to their marching band family!

Andrew Houston, a former Cavalier, has taught with some of the most prestigious drum and bugle corps nationwide, such as the Marion Cadets, Cincinnati Tradition and the Blue Stars. His wife is a marching, instructional, and administrative alumni of the renowned Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps.

The marching arts are very near to the Houstons’ hearts, which inspired the announcement of their third child joining the family!

Andrew was elated to find out their family will be expecting a boy, hoping he may follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Cavalier.

“We look forward to all of our children marching corps, for there are few outlets in life where one can learn how to live to and beyond one’s potential,” he said.
